While claiming to be the ‘Forza Horizon killer,’ committed suicide!

The latest entry in the long-standing Test Drive series, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, has been eagerly awaited for a long time with claims that it could rival Forza Horizon. However, with its release approaching next week, the game has disappointed with its review scores.

The game, set to release on September 12, 2024, for all new-generation consoles and PC, has had its review embargo lifted today. Currently, there are five reviews on Metacritic, averaging a mediocre 65/100.

Reviewers have criticized the game for lacking the spirit and liveliness expected from the genre, with comments suggesting it feels like being in a cardboard city. Additionally, the game suffers from significant FPS issues, even in Performance Mode. Critics have also noted that the game’s constant online requirement is a drawback, though they acknowledged that vehicle controls are heavy but quite enjoyable.
